Ed Foster has fought many battles on behalf of referees at both the youth and adult level for over 30 years. Today, he begins his own battle.

ED will undergo major surgery today to stop the spread of cancer that taken over his body.

Ed always spoke his mind when he felt something needed to be corrected and didn''t care who the person was or the position he held, often to his detriment. Ed didn''t care about advancement or holding office, he cared about the referees. He never had a personal agenda.

I have a favorite saying and it applies to ED "I would rather have you hate me for who I am, than love me for who I am not".
